Shramdaan is a social brand employed for rural employment. The region is still in the grip of poverty due to the benefits of the development of the country not reaching the rural and remote areas equally. In 2015, the scheme started from two villages of Madhya Pradesh, Bina Barah and Kundalpur. Gurudev Jainacharya 108 Inspired by Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, more than two dozen educated youth, many of whom were employed in multinational institutions; Renounced their high positions and started a handloom scheme for the making of Vatsalya soulful, non-violent garments. Inspired by Guruji's pious thoughts, these youths have a strong intention to overcome deep problems such as rural poverty, urban migration and labor exploitation. Due to the intentions of this group of shramdaan, handmade garments are known for their modern styles and branded quality with non-violent qualities.
Agriculture is the main source of livelihood in rural areas, in which all family members work during wubai, irrigation and harvesting. In such a situation it becomes necessary for them to stay in the village for a few days and a few months. But most of the people of the family become empty at the same time. The Shramdan Handloom Scheme provides the best of these farmers' wasted time by making good use of their economic time and staying in the family with financial strength. In the villages where these centers have opened, rural youth who have migrated to the city are returning to adopt this beautiful lifestyle. The youth who have returned from such a city are playing a positive role for their family and village by regaining their confidence.
Behind this use of shramdaan is their strong fourteen training centers which are established in many states of the country and are increasing every month. 3 months free training is imparted at these centers. Also stay and breakfast is also available free of cost. Allowance or honorarium is also available during training at these centers.
The rural youths are able to get all the aspects of handloom such as handloom machine, thread plan, warp making, filling / folding, weaving craft, hand art, dobby, setting of jockboard instruments, herbs and others. Hand work That is, they become artists in front of Shramadaan who make varied, very attractive clothes. Shramdan's handmade garments are very comfortable, aerated and also pleasurable, probably because they are made with the influence of the Guru's Vatsalya.
Shramdan aims at the full development of youth capabilities and also assists students who have been trained to employ this objective. In two years, more than 25 students have become the pride of their village by employing rural youth and employing 5 to 10 other youths.
