“My name is Ramavtar Thakur and I am 30 years old. I had studied until class 9th and then started working as labour in my own village. I was earning ₹150 per day as a result of my labour work. Sadly, after real hard work, I would earn mere ₹150. This had deep impact on my life and then somebody told me about the Handloom Program. I joined the program in 2019 and then I never looked back. Today I am earning almost ₹9500 per month. This is more than sufficient to run my family and live a respected life.”

Rakesh Patel, Age -26 Years
Rakesh Patel, a resident of village Ramgadha, situated just 4 KMs away from Kundalpur. Rakesh had completed his graduation before moving to Indore to work in a washing powder factory as a labour. After his father's untime demise, Rakesh was responsible for whole family including his mother. He was deeply disturbed by the fact that he was not with his father during his last breathes. That has brought him back to join best employment opportunity in his surroundings. Today, after attaining handloom training he is earning allmost ₹7000 per month and living a respected life in his own village.
